At Forrest Beach State School, our dress code provides guidance to the school community on the agreed uniform and standards for student personal presentation. The purpose of our dress code is to promote a sense of identity and pride; help strengthen school community cohesion; enhance student safety, health and wellbeing; and prepare students for the expectations of some workplaces.
Our agreed uniform is a bottle green polo shirt with our school logo embroidered on the front left-hand side and bottle green shorts or skorts. Girls can also choose to wear our checkered green dress. Students must wear closed in shoes and a bottle green bucket hat. No caps allowed, following sun safety guidelines.
In winter, students wear a bottle green or black jumper and trackpants/leggings. Winter clothes must not have any derogative language or images. In term four, when students particiate in swimming lessons, they must wear long sleeve swim shirts and swimming clothes that cover their bodies (no bikini's). If students do not have a long sleeve swim shirt, one can be borrowed from the school.
Forrest Beach State School and the school P&C association partner with MENZ workwear to sell our school uniform. MENZ is located in Ingham next to Coles and KHub on Lannercost St.
